PGA TOUR First Tee Foundation (“First Tee”)
First Tee (www.firsttee.org) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit youth development organization under the umbrella of PGA TOUR Inc. Our mission is to impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character and instill life-changing values through the game of golf. Since its inception in 1997, First Tee has expanded to reach more than 3.6 million young people annually on golf courses, in schools and at youth centers. Its headquarters are in St. Augustine, Florida, USA with programs in all 50 United States and select international locations. President George W. Bush serves as Honorary Chair.
PGA of Canada
Established in 1911, the PGA of Canada is the second oldest and third largest professional golf association in the world. The PGA of Canada is a non-profit Association comprised of 3,600 golf professionals across the country. The Association’s mandate is to develop, promote and support our Members as experts in the game and business of golf, and, in so doing, serve both its Members’ needs and those of the golfing public through the Association’s varied programs and events. The R&A
Based in St Andrews, The R&A runs The Open, elite amateur events, international matches and rankings. Together The R&A and the USGA govern the sport of golf worldwide, operating in separate jurisdictions but sharing a commitment to a single code for the Rules of Golf, Rules of Amateur Status and Equipment Standards. The R&A, through R&A Rules Ltd, governs the sport worldwide, outside of the United States and Mexico, on behalf of over 36 million golfers in 143 countries and with the consent of 156 organizations from amateur and professional golf. Golf Saskatchewan is the governing body of amateur golf in Saskatchewan, representing more than 14,500 members at 108 clubs across the province. Golf Saskatchewan’s mission is to grow participation in, and passion for the sport while upholding the integrity of the game. Golf Saskatchewan conducts programs and services to serve golfers in Saskatchewan. Athlete development, Order of Merit Tours, Rules of Golf and amateur status, handicapping and course rating are only some of the initiatives the association leads for golf in Saskatchewan.
